Double Storey Basement on a Tiny Footprint.
MJ Rooney Construction formed a two-storey basement under this tiny mews house in Chelsea to more than double the internal space of the property. The real feature of this project was a rear basement lightwell with in-situ stairs that allows light to flood into the upper basement storey. The basement was formed in two underpinning phases.
