BICKLEY QUETTA BLOCK BASEMENT

In Bromley, we undertook the construction of an extensive basement beneath the rear garden, incorporating a link corridor to connect to a new staircase level below the existing central staircase. This ambitious project required transitional underpinning beneath the existing house, along with the demolition of the rear elevation. Following these initial steps, we executed an open battered excavation and constructed the new basement structure using the distinctive ‘Quetta Blockwork’ method.
Our meticulous approach ensured the stability of the existing structure while seamlessly integrating the new basement.
