CAR PARK & ROADS AT THE ROEHAMPTON CLUB

MJ Rooney executed a comprehensive surfacing project at the Roehampton Private Members Club in southwest London, involving the construction of a permeable car park and new road infrastructure. The project featured a Golpla permeable surfacing system, chosen to prevent excavation near established tree root structures, thus preserving the existing landscape. We utilised grass reinforcement mesh to ensure the car park's resilience and sustainability while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing finish.
In addition to the surfacing, we also installed a sophisticated drainage system designed to efficiently manage surface water and reduce runoff, ensuring long-term functionality and minimal maintenance. An intelligent traffic light system was also incorporated to optimise traffic flow and enhance safety within the car park area. This approach not only met functional requirements but also matched the club's upscale environment, reflecting a commitment to both practicality and quality in every aspect of this project.
