KNOCKHOLT KINGPOST BASEMENT

MJ Rooney undertook the demolition of an existing dwelling to create a basement for a large new house nestled in the woodlands of Knockholt, Kent. Given the challenging site, we installed a kingpost basement earthwork support system to safeguard the surrounding structures during construction. This method provided essential earthwork support throughout the project, ensuring both stability and safety.

The basement features a reinforced concrete structure, housing a swimming pool, gymnasium, plant room, and utility space.
