COMMERCIAL KENSINGTON BASEMENT

MJ Rooney executed a comprehensive structural alteration for a commercial basement project in Kensington, London. This involved demolishing and rebuilding sections of the structure and constructing a new concrete lift shaft throughout the entire building. Our solution included core drilling hundreds of thousands of holes to ensure reinforcement continuity and erecting formwork tightly between existing floors.

Self-compacting concrete was poured into each level from the floor above, and a brock was used to open up the internal lift-shaft void. This meticulous process allowed us to integrate the new lift shaft seamlessly into the existing building while maintaining structural integrity. The project showcases our expertise in handling complex commercial alterations and our ability to deliver high-quality results under challenging conditions.
