STUNNING EXTENSION & HOUSE RENOVATION

In South East London’s picturesque, leafy suburbs, a much-loved family home needed to evolve - offering modern comfort and a sanctuary from the outside world.

In collaboration with Meme Architects, MJ Rooney demolished the existing rear extension and constructed a sleek, single-storey addition. This transformation enhanced the connection between the lush garden and the living spaces, flooding the home with natural light and a fresh, contemporary feel.

The open-plan kitchen and entertaining area flow seamlessly to a terrace, perfect for summer living. A flexible living room can be opened up or closed off to create a cosy snug, while a utility room, bathroom, and home office are tucked away for convenience.

Upstairs, spacious bedrooms and a bright, quirky loft room complete the home. With crisp white walls, robust wooden floors, and striking Crittall doors, every detail reflects modern craftsmanship and timeless style.
