World Suicide Prevention Day

In a world where we can be anything, be kind! As we, at M J Rooney Construction, recognise this very important date, we consider ways in which we can contribute to the prevention of suicide. 

Making ourselves available to our friends and colleagues and making an effort to start the conversations that are challenging, may mean we save a life. It can feel like an overwhelming commitment, but it shouldn’t be us that are overwhelmed, it’s the people that feel they can’t continue in this world who are overwhelmed and need our support. 

That’s why at M J Rooney Construction, we have trained Mental Health Champions and Mental Health First Aiders. We live in the hope that by making ourselves available, one less family might be bereaved.
